The Patoranking
Foundation
For about six years, the Patoranking foundation, a non-profit organization has been committed to empowering young Africans and expanding excellence through education. Exceptional leaders and change-makers can come from anywhere. Financial constraints should not prevent the next great African disruptor from gaining the tools, skillsets, and networks to bring their innovations to life.
Having overcome financial adversity in his own journey of impact, Patoranking has been using his platform to unleash more entrepreneurial leaders who will bring positive change to their countries and the continent.
Through research and advocacy, the Patoranking foundation enables the most promising young leaders from across the continent to study at some of the continent’s best schools and Africa’s most innovative universities, whatever their financial resources or background.
Early Beginnings
The Organization has been providing scholarships for underserved youth and families from disenfranchised communities since its inception and currently supports over 160 young students within several schools in the Eastern part of Nigeria including: Crown Child, Zion Kiddies, Good Foundation, Urban School and Evangel.
“ I wish and I pray everyday that I can help the world, I can save the world, I can become Superman and save the world. That is the prayer.” — Patoranking, 9 October 2023
Back in 2020, the foundation partnered with ALU to launch the ALU Patoranking Scholarship. The ALU Patoranking Scholarship fully covered education and accommodation expenses for the 10 selected beneficiaries to attend the African Leadership University, studying in Mauritius and Rwanda Campuses.
Today
This year, the Patoranking foundation is about to announce a partnership with ALX to provide 40 resilient, driven, innovative, creative, mission-driven young students who have demonstrated impact in their communities’ access to life-changing technology courses and career ready training.
The Foundation is also about to launch its first community turf in Nigeria as part of the Patoranking Community Empowerment Programme (PACEP), an initiative to build over 100 football turfs within some of the underserved communities in Africa. The Flagship Turf (will be situated in the Ebute Metta in Lagos, where Patoranking grew up. The Turf Arena will provide a (no-alcohol, drug-free) safe space for members of the community to cooperate and work together, exercise, socialize and compete.
