I believe to be a good choice for the internship because I’m a self-driven individual. I always approach problems from a logical perspective, and that has helped me grow a passion for computers, especially programming!

I always attempt to solve a problem myself before seeking help because I love the challenge. Interest in programming began when I wondered how games were made when I was young. I then discovered applications like Unity3D which I currently use to learn code as I wait to begin the Back-end programming course with ALX.

I know I would benefit from this internship because I’ve seen that in today’s world, there is an increased need for professionals with experience. The ALX programmes give us the knowledge, but with the internship, there will be so much more to gain as a learner. This internship will help me discover more about myself; like my type of work environment and how I would manage workplace challenges, especially now that I have just graduated high school.

Discovering ALX and their programmes was just another step of my journey. The next is to put in the time and effort to reach my destination: to be a competent software engineer renowned for his efficiency. I have faith that ALX and The Patoranking Foundation will help me get there.
