Excellence is a constant pursuit of mine. I am a driven and passionate learner who has a proven record of academic excellence and a knack for online learning. As a recent Economics and Business Administration graduate, I have honed critical thinking, analytical, time management, and organizational skills.

I have had some exposure to data analytics while pursuing my Economics degree, however, my interest in the field came into play while interning for a research organization. I was astounded by how the data analysts at the company took unstructured data and turned it into insightful information. The people who manipulated the data were the brains of the entire research, and I wanted to acquire the same set of skills that they had. However, my financial background, lack of experience, and limited tech background made achieving this goal farfetched.

Despite these challenges, after learning about the ALX program and its partnership with the Patoranking Foundation, my goals seemed achievable, as my lack of tech background was no longer a barrier. This opportunity will allow me to gain hands-on experience and apply some of the theoretical skills we will learn, allowing me to elevate my career.

Even though I have a limited tech background, I am confident that I will excel, as shown by my successful completion of an online business administration degree simultaneously with my bachelor’s without losing my full scholarship. Finally, I ask you to take a chance on someone who puts in effort and has determination.
